Aims of the course
As a carer it is especially important to stay positive and well so you are able to look after your loved ones. Low mood can affect your thinking, behaviour, actions and emotions and in in this course we will look at overcoming low mood one step at a time.
Type of course
This course is delivered in six sessions each lasting two hours and forms part of a group based session of between eight and 24 people.
Who this course may benefit
The course is one which focuses on the here and now and is based on cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and helps carers understand the thoughts that keep low mood going, and how our actions affect how we feel. Enrol on this course if you would like to prevent burn-out, whilst helping others in a caring role.
